What the Stars Whispered – Illustrated Winter Postcard from Iris Esther

What the Stars Whispered

Have you ever wondered what the stars might tell us, if only we knew how to listen?

Deep in a snow-covered forest, a little bunny has stopped beneath the trees. All around him, the world has grown wonderfully quiet. Not a leaf is stirring, not a bird is singing. Even the snow seems to be holding its breath.

And then, something rather extraordinary happens.

Tiny stars begin to twinkle between the trees, as though the winter forest has a secret it has been waiting to share.

I think that is what I love most about winter time: When the world grows still and the days grow dark, there are little wonders waiting to be discovered.

A gentle reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things in life don’t make a sound at all.
