Under the Christmas Tree – Illustrated Christmas Postcard from Iris Esther

For a moment, he was quite certain he had found a new friend.

Beneath the Christmas tree, among evergreen branches, berries and enormous ornaments, a tiny mouse has stopped in his tracks. Looking into the shiny Christmas bauble in front of him, he discovers another little mouse looking straight back.

He leans in a little closer. So does the other mouse.

Under the Christmas Tree captures one of those tiny, almost unnoticed moments of wonder — a curious little mouse discovering his own reflection for the very first time, surrounded by all the warmth and magic of Christmas.

With its rich, nostalgic colours, oversized ornaments and tiny details, this illustrated postcard is lovely to send as a Christmas greeting, add to a present or display somewhere special during the festive season.

And perhaps a little reminder that sometimes the most magical discoveries are hiding right in front of us.
